Michael Jackson fans in France awarded 1 euro for emotional distress

from NEWSPlus Radio · host NEWSPlus Radio

(Jackson) A French judge has ruled that five Michael Jackson fans who say they are emotionally distraught due to the King of Pop's death have been awarded a total of one euro in damages. The amount is to be paid by the entertainer's doctor, Conrad Murray, who subscribed the anesthetic Propofol that caused his death. The court ruling capped a two-year struggle by a group of 30 French, Swiss and Belgian fans of Jackson for legal recognition of their loss.
