As the Managing Director of the award-winning managing agent Michael Laurie Magar Ltd., which he established in 2000, Michael has been a transformative figure in property management.Michael's impressive career includes serving as the former chairman of ARMA, where he led the organisation through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and the significant merger with IRPM. His commitment to excellence is further exemplified by his role as a TPI Executive Board member and leader of the TPI Environmental and Social working group, focusing on wellbeing in the industry.In this episode, I’ll delve into Michael's personal experiences, including the challenges he faced with bullying at school and his journey navigating life as a neurodivergent individual with ADHD and dyslexia.
