Michael Moore

Te gast in deze uitzending: rietblazer en componist Michael Moore, geboren en opgegroeid in California in de VS, sinds 1982 wonend en werkend in Amsterdam. Hij maakte muziek voor theatervoorstellingen, won in 1986 de Boy Edgar Prijs (de belangrijkste jazzprijs van Nederland), richtte zijn eigen CD-label Ramboy Records op, organiseerde festivals en laat zich in zijn composities graag inspireren door zowel de Amerikaanse jazz-traditie als de typisch Nederlandse impro-scene, maar ook door muzikale tradities uit andere delen van de wereld: Turkse, Indonesische, Afrikaanse en Portugese muziek, je hoort het allemaal op momenten terug in zijn composities.
