Michael R Hunter: The Two Most Spiritual Things You Can Do

In this episode of Progress Always, Mycal Anders sits down with Michael Hunter, the founder of PersonalBrand.com and SpiffyCheckouts.com, to discuss his journey through entrepreneurship, personal growth, and the spiritual connection to business and family. Michael has a mission to help entrepreneurs and thought leaders elevate their personal brands and create meaningful, scalable businesses. He shares his transformative story, from his early ventures in sales to building a software company, and ultimately finding his purpose in elevating other powerful voices through personal branding. Key Takeaways:1) Michael's entrepreneurial journey began at seventeen, selling Cutco knives, where he learned the power of value creation and belief in the products he was selling. This early experience shaped his approach to business and his desire to work for himself.2) The challenges of navigating through the 2008 recession during his early years as a business owner helped Michael develop resilience and leadership, teaching him the importance of market dynamics and the value of persistence.3) Michael discusses the importance of recognizing when a market shift is at play, rather than blaming oneself or the team. Understanding when your efforts are working against the tide and adjusting your strategy accordingly is key to long-term success.4) The importance of getting clear on your mission and values in order to make aligned decisions in both business and life. Michael shares his personal struggle of trying to do too many things at once and how simplifying his focus to create more freedom has been pivotal in his journey.5) PersonalBrand.com is a culmination of Michael's desire to help other entrepreneurs, speakers, and thought leaders build impactful brands. He reflects on how he’s tapped into his own early entrepreneurial passion to help others create lasting value.Quotes:• "Business can be spiritual.
