In the 1970s, he became a pivotal member of John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band, a musical chapter that would define his career. One of Michael’s standout moments includes contributing to the soundtracks of several iconic films, most notably in one of my all-time favorites, “Eddie And The Cruisers.” Notably, our guest was not just a musical force in the background; he also graced the screen in the film (and its sequel), portraying the fictional saxophonist Wendell Newton.
