Michael Versteeg is an Arizona legend in the world of ultrarunning. Winning the inaugural year of Cocodona, once running the FKT for the Arizona Trail, nabbing multiple wins and podiums, and being known as one of the most elusive characters of ultrarunning, Versteeg is a fan favorite. So, when he announced he was putting on the Saddles 100 mile race last year in Prescott, AZ, the running community was immediately interested. And in this episode, Michael shares all about the race, including why he started it, what makes it so unique, and the experience he is looking to create in trail running.
