Michele and Curtis talk with Pam Alexis, the Mayor of Mission

Michele and Curtis are joined by special guest Pam Alexis, the Mayor of Mission, BC. In this episode Pam discusses the progressive new vision of the council in which they see Mission as more than a 'bedroom community'. The long term plan takes advantage of Missions fantastic location with access to the River, Rail and Highway. Mission also boasts beautiful views for a significant amount of properties that developers love to see. Part of the plan is to create and build the infrastructure to offer more jobs, while creating more high density living options. In the process of creating this long-term plan, they are taking great efforts not to lose the charm of Mission that current residents enjoy and contribute to.Other topics discussed are; sustainability, traffic and of course, the Silverdale plan.
