On this special Juneteenth episode of The Jay Walker Podcast, Jay sits down for an exclusive and deeply moving conversation with Michele Jones Galvin, the direct descendant of American superhero and icon Harriet Tubman. Stripping away the textbook history, Jay uncovers the real "Aunt Harriet"—an ordinary 5-foot-tall powerhouse who built a 32-acre homestead in Auburn, New York, funded a self-sustaining community, and navigated rooms with history's heaviest political minds without ever compromising her mission.Jay digs into the heavy topics, exploring the massive psychological shift from surviving slavery to building a life of freedom, the weight of generational trauma versus generational strength, and how Harriet's radical, tactical faith fueled her fearlessness. Michele reveals Harriet's incredible business savvy, her profound, everyday humanity, and what she would honestly think about the modern fight for equity today.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
