Michelle Carter & Conrad Roy
from Nosey B*tches Hosted by Nosey Bitches
On July 13th, 2014, Conrad Roy III was found dead inside a car in a Kmart parking lot. The investigation of his apparent suicide and the evidence at the scene led officers to Conrad's most recent phone calls and texts. What they discovered shook them to their cores. The prosecution would argue that Conrad's girlfriend, Michelle Carter, coerced him into the act. Michelle's defense team would suggest the circumstances of his death to be complex and tragic but ultimately his own decision. Listen to Karla's and Michael's take on this baffling case that raised all kinds of questions about the impact and power of words and how much accountability they demand when a life is lost.
