Today, our guest is Michelle Gabrieloff-Parish, co- founder of the Just Transition Collaborative with myself and Manuela SIfuentes and David Ciplet. Back then she was the Energy and Climate Justice finisher and then Assistant Director at the University of Colorado Boulder Environmental Center, including expertise in water, energy, food waste justice and more.  Since 2020 she's been working remotely as the senior program manager of Climate Innovation at the soon to be renamed People's Climate Innovation Center based out of Oakland, which is part of the family of NGOs, known as the Movement Strategy Center Network. She founded Candelas Glows or Rocky Flats Glows, raising awareness about the radioactive dangers of Rocky Flats in Colorado before that, fighting to protect the health of everyone in the area. Michelle is a multi-ethnic author and poet ,student and teacher of ecological and permaculture design, organizer, wife and mother of three. I know I can talk with our guest for hours because I have many times before; so, today, I'm going to be focused on just a small area of her related expertise.
