Shellee and Michelle discuss: - Our world is full of trauma and a lot of people don't know how to talk about it - Keep the door of communication open with your kids - We are not designed to handle stress alone, you need someone to talk to or lean on - Signs of trauma/stress to look for in loved ones and yourself -and more! About Michelle: "I have been a group facilitator in various capacities for the last 30 years; in schools, after school mental Health programs, Group homes, offering trainings on job sites and in my private therapy and transformational coaching practices. My current work focuses on trauma-informed coaching, Consulting and training, and helping to create the next generation of trauma-informed leaders. My passions are psychology, trauma-informed care, spirituality, storytelling, performance, communication, embodiment, improvisation and play and supporting our youth. My work supports building a bridge between the power of the mind and the wisdom of the body. I believe the mind is a powerful tool to support us and implementing wisdom that our body collects and shares with us when we take the time to listen. Our world has become so disconnected from our bodies and feelings and learning to not only manage, but to lean into discomfort, is a necessary skill for navigating our world. Learning to stay present, in our bodies, feeling what we feel, creates a dance between the mind and the body The fosters awareness, insight, regulation, self-compassion and authentic expression" Connect with Michelle: Website- www.michellemaree.com Facebook- https://www.facebook.com/michelle.hardemanguptilllmft LinkedIn- https://www.linkedin.com/in/michelle-maree-hardeman-guptill Instagram- https://www.instagram.com/neurosomatransformations Connect with Shellee: Website: https://collegereadyplan.com/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCr_WodPHDfSWEbiPdsRDbyQ Twitter: https://twitter.com/gocollegeready Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/collegereadyplan/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/CollegeReadyPlan/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/college-ready/ Email: [email protected] 🎁 Episode Gift & Contact   🎓 College Planning Support for Parents Want help organizing next steps and avoiding costly college mistakes?   📘 Workbook Gift: https://go.collegereadyplan.com/podcast-gift-workbook   🤝 Interested in Collaborating with College Ready?
