Reyes discusses the Christian community and the uprise of targeted hate crimes against the AAPI community in America.


"The Asian community has been targets of systemic racism, from exclusion of immigration of the United States, to lynching, to killing, to stealing our wealth, to being sexualized and fetishized, and so much more." Reyes further explains, not just the 3,800 hate incidents that were reported, but all the other incidents that for which [the] Asian community have never been given permission, where we felt safe to articulate our pain."
