Michigan high school athletes can cash in on name, image and likeness
from WWJ: On-Demand
High school athletes in Michigan can now cash in on their fame, just like college athletes. Effective immediately, the MHSAA has approved new rules expanding "Personal Branding Activities" -- or N-I-L. This means student-athletes can now sign endorsement deals, sell merchandise, get paid for autographs, and even do social media promotions. Detroit Catholic Central Athletic Director Aaron Babicz talked with WWJ's Jeremy Otto. (Photo credit: Getty Images)
