New legislation aims to break down barriers for living organ donors in Michigan.Gift of Life Michigan says 15% of organ donors donate while alive. The Michigan Senate passed a bill 34-1 that will give employers a tax credit covering 100% of wages paid to living organ donors, allowing them to take paid time off the the procedure.
