In order to continue to build momentum for their Pac-12 Football schedule, Kalen DeBoer and his Washington staff need a win in East Lansing. In contrast, Michigan State needed to make changes to its staff to accommodate Mel Tucker's suspension in light of a sexual assault investigation. Former head coach Mark Dantonio is back at Michigan State as an assistant and defensive backs coach Harlon Barnett has been promoted to the interim head coach position.
