Michigan crushed the Colorado State Rams by a score of 51-7. The Wolverines had explosive plays on both sides of the ball and controlled the game from start to finish. QB Cade McNamara went 9-18 for 136 yards and 1 touchdown. QBs JJ McCarthy and Alan Bowman also got playing time, with McCarthy having 50 rushing yards on the ground and 1 touchdown on a 20-yard run. RBs Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards split carries and were a part of the Wolverine offense that had 234 rushing yards on 40 carries. The OL looked great overall, having just a few hiccups while being successful in both run and pass blocks. The defense looked like an elite unit. Yes, it was against Colorado State, but the team had 7 sacks, and several TFLs, and held the Rams to zero points until the 4th quarter.
