In today's podcast, John says that Michigan's path to their dominating National Championship Game victory over Washington was something that took longer than expected, but it gives creedence to the vision Jim Harbaugh had all along with Washington. Then, John says to look ouf for the Buffalo Bills in the playoffs, and that the in-season collapses of the Jacksonville Jaguars and Philadelphia Eagles (though Philly made the playoffs) are inexcusable and embarrassing, and DeMeco Ryans secured Coach of the Year honors by leading the Texans to an unexpected AFC South division crown. Then, he says it sucks for the Grizzlies fans that Ja Morant is out for the season and it ends the Grizzlies season too, the Knicks are a much more stout team defensive with newby OG Anunoby leading the charge, and the OKC Thunder deserve some love for their strong start and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is in the NBA MVP discussion with the way he's playing.
