Microbursts Hit Lorain County

Two powerful microbursts slammed into Lorain County Wednesday night, causing chaos and damage unlike anything seen in years. Trees snapped, branches flew, and debris littered neighborhoods — including one dramatic moment when a neighbor’s tree crashed onto a house under renovation. Emergency crews scrambled to clear roads, while businesses like Park Lanes Bar and Grille suffered siding collapses and power outages. Though the aftermath is messy, residents are grateful no one was hurt and are rallying together to rebuild — a vivid reminder of nature’s fury and community’s resilience.
