#93 -When the day has been chaotic, have you ever felt like all you needed was just a moment to take a breath?

I remember one night I was so tired and struggling to put my kids down to bed. They were extra rowdy and defiant and I just had enough. I was finally able to put them in bed and I walked over to my room with my heart racing. I went to bed and I felt like I had to calm myself down because I was feeling so many emotions. I began to do some breath-work to relax. As soon as I was done sitting in silence and controlling my breath, tears started rolling down my face as if I was balling my eyes out, but I didn't feel bad. I felt relief. I needed to just sit with my emotions and breath.

After that, every time I felt the same anxiety and frustration, I stepped away to do the same thing. It was so simple but yet so effective, allowing me to feel calm and gain some clarity on the next steps I needed to take.

This is why I created something that would allow other moms to take that much needed breathing space. Self-care can sometimes be ignored due to lack of time. But, moms who take care of themselves can be more intentional and present.

I created a free resources to give busy moms and mom entrepreneurs the ability to add in a short meditation to their routine.

Setting out with the simple goal of offering “American households a mass of good reading”, the editors drew from literature of all times and all kinds what they considered the best pieces of human writing, and compiled an ambitious collection of 45 volumes (with a 46th being an index-guide). Besides the selection and translation of a huge number of poems, letters, short stories and sections of books, the collection offers, before each chapter, a short essay about the author or subject in question. In many cases, chapters contemplate not one author, but certain groups of works, organized by nationality, subject or period; there is, thus, a chapter on Accadian-Babylonian literature, one on the Holy Grail, and one on Chansons, for example. The result is a collection that holds the interest, for the variety of subjects and forms, but also as a means of first contact with such famous and imp
