Shepler highlights Storage Spaces Direct's support for new classes of disk devices and ability to spread storage across diverse NVMe* and SATA hardware, enabling end users to write hot, warm, and cold data to the most appropriate devices. Windows Server 2016 which will be available in October 2016.
