Mid-Majors Shine in 2025-26 College Hoops

Utah State Aggies topped the final Mens Other Top Twenty-five ranking, securing Mountain West regular season and tournament titles, and advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Saint Marys Gaels and Saint Louis Billikens also made strong showings, while Santa Clara Broncos and Miami of Ohio RedHawks ended long droughts and enjoyed successful runs. Lower-ranked teams like VCU Rams, New Mexico, San Diego State, and Tulsa Golden Hurricane also made their mark, with four new faces joining the list. Despite lacking power conference backing, these mid-major teams demonstrated their prowess and set a high bar for future seasons.
