R train service in Brooklyn will be suspended between 36th Street in Sunset Park and 95th Street in Bay Ridge from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Meanwhile, the FDNY says deaths caused by lithium-ion battery fires dropped significantly last year.
