A few weeks back we spoke with our man in New York, Aussie Phil Brown, who said he felt New Yorkers were resigned to the fact that they probably had to put up with Donald Trump as president for the remainder of his term. He is firing public servants who disagree with him, he has the numbers in congress. He is challenging laws, some might say creating new rules as he goes, and also his appointees at the ultimate decision-making Supreme Court. But far from 'resigned', Kris sees things a little differently and believes the people are certainly not taking this laying down - – we drill down and hear her perspective from in the American heartland where protests are plenty.
