Midlands North West MEP that economic uncertainty is leading to major local employers considering US investment

A Midlands North West MEP is warning that the economic uncertainty around tariffs that will be imposed on Pharmaceutical products from Europe is leading to a dangerous scenario where companies based in the North West are already indicating that they will increase their investment in the US. Ciaran Mullooly says such moves are as direct result of President Trump threating to impose a tariffs of 150 per cent on such products.  The Independent Ireland MEP says companies like Abbvie and Abbot are providing vital employment in this region.  He says the threats from President Trump is leading to instability for Pharma Companies.
