The time for submitting your entry for the Eric S. Brown and David Dunwoody Zombie Flash Fiction Contest is very short — the 4th of July! Uncle Sam wants YOU to submit a story! On the show, I get to talk about the newest release by awesome horror band DieMonsterDie — Fall To Your Knees. Thanks to Mike at Cadaver Lab for turning me onto these guys! Go to DieMonsterDie’s official web site, where you can learn more about them, buy their albums, watch sweet videos, and more. You’ll hear the songs “How Many People Do I Have To Kill, Before You Know I Love You” and “A Priest and a Zombie Rent a Fishing Boat as Friends” during the show. We hear from Ertrov’s friend Mitch, Spooky Bill, and CarnageCake. I watched two movies this week, and give them both a review: Doghouse (2009) and Offspring(2009). My original music this week continues in the story of Mr. Bass’s Planetoid — “N.O.W.” The articles I talk about: Songwriters: Send us your original song on the tragedy in the Gulf (thanks to Misfitboy) Salmon-Flavored Vodka Motive sought in death of 5-year-old girl killed in Shelton Good Samaritan saves woman with severed legs Some guy named Root Rot appears on the latest Dark Hours podcast.
