Midwest Simon Claims Cross Department Approach Needed From Government To Solve Homelessness Crisis

Midwest Simon says greater cross department coordination is needed in from Government to tackle the homelessness crisis. It follows the publication of the Department of Housing's latest homeless report, which found 99 adults are acessing emergency accomodation in Clare in June, 25% more than in 2025. In the UK, new Prime Minister Andy Burnham has pledged £340 million to end rough sleeping in Britain. Midwest Simon CEO, Niall Garvey, says a similar commitment needs to be made by the Irish Government.
