I got to spend my lunch break with Migdalia Pace, the owner, designer, creator and screen printer for Migdalia. Migdalia is a clothing brand that is an intersection between feminism and independence meet- They are beautiful Muertos Mermaids (Catrinas) and female illustrations representing a women's beauty and independence.   We discussed how an art show started her brand and that same art show also evolved her brand into the Catrinas and mermaids we see today. How she taught herself to screen print.  We discussed all the different events she does and what she looks for.  We talk about building a community and learning and growing from each other.  We discussed her future and what she is trying to create as well as being a female business owner.
