200.000 Kinder in Österreich leiden an Migräne. Ein virtueller Avatar soll ihnen beim Umgang mit ihrer Krankheit helfen. "Du willst dich einfach nur hinlegen und schlafen, um das Ganze zu vergessen, aber du kannst nicht." Nicola Filzmoser leidet seit ihrem siebten Lebensjahr an Migräne. Die starken Schmerzen, die Übelkeit, plötzliche Licht- und Geräuschempfindlichkeit zwingen sie damals tagelang Zeit im Bett zu verbringen. Ohne Schule, ohne Freunde. Erst 15 Jahre später hat sie gelernt mit ihrer Migräne umzugehen. Jetzt will sie es anderen Kindern leichter machen. "Happyr Health" ist ein Startup im Entstehen. Am Campus der Cambridge University in Großbritannien entwickelt Nicola Filzmoser gemeinsam mit ihrem Co-Gründer Cornelius Palm einen virtuellen Avatar. Er soll Kindern und Eltern bei der Suche nach Auslösern für ihre Migräne helfen und die dadurch vermeidbarer machen. Über eine Crowdfundingkampagne hat das Gründer-Duo gerade 10.000 Pfund für ihre Idee eingesammelt. In "Start Me Up" spricht sie über ein Gründung in Coronazeiten und wieso ihr Unternehmen gerade jetzt mehr gebraucht wird denn je.
