Mijk van Dijk in Kigali/ Rwanda, Mamba Club, Part 2 of 2

In January 2018 I was invited by the Goethe-Institut Kigali to come to Rwanda and give workshops and play a DJ-set. After gathering inspiration at Inema Arts Center, THE party to be in Kigali on a Thursday night, I played a lot of new and old Tribal Techno tracks on Friday at lovely Open Air Club Mamba in Kigali before I went all Techno during my almost 5-hours-set. Great response by the very mixed crowd. Techno is on the map in Rwanda. Big thanks to Goethe-Institut Kigali, the Urban Gorilla Collective and Mamba Club. If in Kigali, definitely check this club out. It’s got a pool, a playground, a volleyball court and the only bowling track in Rwanda for afternoon activities.
