Mika Mills - President-Greene County Chamber of Commerce

My guest today is Mika Mills, President of the Greene County Chamber of Commerce! The Chamber has been doing some great work, growing rapidly and hosting a lot of events, and most importantly, a lot of Ribbon Cuts announcing new businesses opening in our area! We’ll talk about the rapid business growth, taking place all over the lake area! We’ll hear about Mika’s early years, growing up in the Miami area, attending high school and graduating from college in a pretty good climate! Her career path took her into banking and ultimately into the mortgage industry. But Mika has a heart for non-profits and she talks about, not only the Chamber, but another non-profit that is close to her, and a lot of other people’s hearts. We’ll talk about the future of Greensboro & Greene County and the lake area in general. She’ll tell us about the many benefits of being part of the Chamber and some of the upcoming events for us to look forward to! And she will explain that many of these events are open to everyone, whether you are a member of the Chamber or not! We’ll certainly hear the story of how Mika and her husband were "lured" to the lake and about her time at Harbor Club prior to her current role of leading the Chamber!
