Mike and Fran Unrehearsed - Episode 23

1. December 23rd! Woohoo! Hoping for a white Xmas :) 2. Mom has a cold and a runny nose. 3. Joe da plumber and Wendy Lalli free 60min consultation 4. *Mike, getting closer to the end of COVID-19. Mom, not so fast, it will take a long time! We argue! 5. Mike, remembering Dads spot lights showing us walking down the stairs Xmas day. All the kids came down in order in pajamas with feet in them :) dad would be smiling from ear to ear. 6. Mom & Dad put together the toys, for the kids. Easy bake oven. 7. Mike, gas creepy crawlers, made a lizard or spider and put it in a diaper. 8. Mike drive Barbie dolls in a yellow dump truck for the girls. 9. Dad had a train that ran around the tree, with a system, tarp, bubble wrap, 3 inch green platform with an O scale train and an HO train going around the tree. Used liquid smoke in the train. 10. We had real trees for sometime, but one year lost the water in the tank, and no more real trees, dad said, to many needles! 11. We get real trees every year these days, Douglas tree or Frazier fur are preferred. 12. Mom, tried to make cookies from grandmas recipe, but it was a pinch of this and that, but it was a disaster. Even the dog Gina. Wouldn’t eat it. Terrible. 13. Our cousins in New Jersey send us Xmas cookies every year. 14. Mom was on a cookie exchange but did not do very good, pies were more her style. 15. Mike, I seem to remember a cake walk where the winner goes home with a cake! Mom, wouldn’t be my cake 🍰:( 16. Aunt Lucille would come out to cook the seven dishes dinner, $300 of fish and cooked it in our garage. Loved it! 17. Octopus, cod, Bacala, and eel. The eel could come back alive after it was frozen. Mom remembers looking at a frozen eel looking at her in the fridge. 18. Some one pickled the left over eel on year and it was great! 19. Aunt Lucille, one year was pushing the broccoli! Haha it was on a cassette tape. 20. Mom, didn’t remember having a big dinner for Xmas until later in the big house. 21. Mom, was swinging an alarm cloak and it flew through the newspaper and hit him in the face . “Frances, you could hurt somebody with that” Her mother would have cracked her one. 22. Mike, reminisced about Xmas in New Jersey visiting BERKLEY Hts., NJ with all the thick snow coming down and uncle Carmen worked at the florist a d everyone was in the Xmas spirit, loved it! 23. Mike, let’s sing some Xmas songs. We sing “Frosty the snowman”, “Blue Xmas”, and “Happy Xmas” oh boy, you’ll never hear these songs the same ever again. 24. Mike, is looking forward to being with the family for Xmas, we will do the grab bag and open gifts then head back home. We were just going to drive up and crack the window a bit and hand out the Christmas cards. 25. Mine, do not take your girlfriend to a jewelry store and but her a necklace .. when she told everyone she was getting a ring. Big trouble. 26. Mom, remembers all the thoughtful gifts she received from the kids over the years. 27. Mike, I want to see that box someday and see what I got for you when I was 8 yrs old.
