Mike Shoreman on overcoming disabilities and achieving extraordinary athletic feats

In 2018, Mike Shoreman was stricken by Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, a neurological condition which caused facial paralysis and vertigo and led to clinical depression. Now, he’s come through the worst of it and is at peace. In a few weeks he’ll become the first disabled person to paddleboard from the U.S. to Canada, all to raise money for mental health charities.
