Miles Mikolas Return? Cardinals Say No | St. Louis News

Cardinals reportedly aren’t eyeing a return for Miles Mikolas, despite his eight-year tenure and All-Star flashes — especially after that rough 5.35 ERA in 2024 and a disappointing stint with the Nationals. While he’s still got innings under his belt, smarter moves lie ahead: internally, young arms like Cooper Hjerpe or Triple-A’s Josh Fleming could fill the void, or externally, Lance McCullers Jr. — a former All-Star at 32 — might be the better fit to revive their rotation. Mikolas is a free agent, but clearly not the answer they’re looking for. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
