The field of Hand Surgery is not something the average person associates with Plastic Surgery, but it is indeed a subspecialty.  And no, I don’t mean cosmetic rejuvenation of the appearance of the hand, though that really is a thing!What we’re talking about when we refer to hand surgery is the surgical specialization in treating the problems, diseases, and injuries which impact the Function of the hand.  Yes, there’s a lot that could go wrong within this small but oh-so-important part of the body.
