Storia del Reggae Pugliese MILITANT P - Free Sensimilla Live 1983 MILITANT P, nome d'arte di Piero Longo (Lecce, 28 giugno 1966), è un Cantante e Disc Jockey italiano. Considerato tra i Pionieri del Reggae in Italia, Militant P inizia la carriera nella scena Reggae e Raggamuffin salentina, esordendo in coppia con Papa Gianni con il demo Love and Unity contenente i pezzi più classici dei due artisti. Militant P ha militato negli Struggle, gruppo Reggae barese. Fu membro fondatore dei Sud Sound System assieme a GGD, DJ War, Papa Gianni e Treble. Nel 1994 abbandonò il gruppo continuando con il nuovo gruppo "La capu, lu core, lu corpu band" e assieme a DJ War. Successivamente si è ritirato dalle scene musicali a causa di alcuni problemi di salute. Nel 2011 esce il Film "Rockman" che racconta la storia della sua vita.
