Military Pilgrimage is a "hidden treasure" in Lourdes

Interviews from the International Military Pilgrimage that took place at the shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes in May 2019. You may be forgiven for thinking that the annual pilgrimage to Lourdes is an exclusively religious affair. Georgina Marshall-Latimer is a Senior Aircraftman in the Royal Air Force and isn't a Catholic. Lourdes was something of a journey of learning and discovery. "It was nice to experience Mass and be calm in the day juxtaposed with, at night, everyone meeting - it's very intense. I would definitely come again. It was like a hidden treasure as I hadn't heard about it before. I had a really good time."
