Military weapons cache seized from Sydney safe house

A major weapons cache including live hand grenades, automatic rifles, ammunition and approximately two million dollars worth of drugs has been seized from a Glenfield property in Sydney's suburbs, allegedly linked to an organised crime gang. A 26-year-old man and woman were arrested at the location and remain in custody. Former NSW Police Detective Superintendent Robert Critchlow describes the discovery as unprecedented, noting the military-grade weaponry represents a significant threat to public safety and indicates organised crime groups are heavily arming themselves.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
