In July 1993, casino mogul Steve Wynn's 26-year-old daughter was abducted at gunpoint from her Las Vegas home. The kidnappers demanded a ransom of approximately $1.45 million in cash. Wynn withdrew the money from his Mirage casino cage and delivered it as instructed. The kidnappers then revealed that Kevyn Wynn was bound and gagged in the back of her own car, which was parked at McCarran International Airport. She was found alive and unharmed. The FBI arrested two men, Ray Cuddy and Jacob Sherwood, who were later convicted of kidnapping, extortion, and money laundering.
