TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. As important and indispensable as material wealth may be in our lives, a man's life doesn't consist in the abundance of his possessions. In fact, the pursuit and abuse of wealth have destroyed so many lives in our world of today. We must, therefore, be guided by the counsel of the Holy Spirit and the grace of God in our drive for and use of material possessions. The material resources of this world must be employed by all in the service of the common good of all if we must find the true meaning of human existence and the proper use of material possessions.
