Mincing Words

To mince words means to speak vaguely or indirectly about a subject or to speak in a way that avoids conflict and solicits approval. It's something we've all done at one point or another to avoid a situation we don't want to be in or not get cancelled, but as we'll see today, when it comes to things that really matter, clarity is charity.It's how Jesus spoke with those who followed Him, where mincing His words would have been easier and arguably more profitable for His ministry, but He chose to speak with clarity out of His great love for them, and the language, and challenge, remains the same for us today. Will we continue to expect God to bless our minced obedience? Or will we repent, and follow Him with our whole-heart and mind and bring Heaven to earth right here and now.Thanks for joining us today!
