Mind Flayer
from Kill Every Monster · host Dylan Malenfant & Aram Vartian
The Monster Manual describes Mind Flayers as “the scourge of sentient creatures across countless worlds. Psionic tyrants, slavers, and interdimensional voyagers, they are insidious masterminds that harvest entire races for their own twisted ends. Four tentacles snake from their octopus-like heads, flexing in hungry anticipation when sentient creatures come near.” We are joined by V.J. Harris. V.J. (they/he) is a professional TTRPG book hoarder—their friends have likened them to a dragon—living in the Midwest. He is one of the authors of the Platinum best-selling DMs Guild supplement “An Elf and an Orc Had a Little Baby Vol I” and one of three designers of the original 5e compatible game “Those Who Wander.” They can be found on Twitter and TikTok @vjhcreations.
