But what about those days when we don’t feel like any transformation has occurred at all? Well, there is a battle that is occurring, not on the outside, but deep within our minds. Peter calls us to, Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. (1 Peter 5:8). While the writers of the New Testament would agree with the answer, they would point out that it’s not just about going to heaven. It makes a difference in our lives NOW!
