Mind Your Busyness: It's a Busy World

Why or why not?The message highlighted how culture often defines people by what they do, rather than who they are. How do you see this in your own life? Do you find yourself defining your identity by your job, your different roles, or your productivity?Read the story of Martha and Mary in Luke 10:38-42. Martha gets distracted by all the work and loses focus on what matters most Jesus' presence. Can you think of a time when you got caught up in the busyness of life and lost sight of what was truly important to you?Jesus told Martha that "Only one thing is needed," and Mary chose the better thing. Are there areas of your life where you feel you are filling your time with activities, but you're not feeling fulfilled? What would it look like to make an adjustment?Pastor Andy raised the question, "Who or what is setting your agenda?" Are you currently setting the schedule for your life based on your core values and priorities, or are there areas where you've simply become busy for the sake of being busy?Is there any part of your schedule that you think God would want to rearrange?
