Amy is the founder of Mindful Explorers Montessori, a place where freedom and responsibility are earned and given. Children develop self-discipline from the freedom and responsibility to appropriately choose their own activity. This fosters intrinsic motivation and the drive toward competence charged by the child's natural curiosity and interest.  Amy gives parents and non-parents tricks of mindset and communication when dealing with adults and kids alike!
