Mind’s Medicine - Guest Mix 1. 010.26

from Magic Lamp Radio · host Magic Lamp Radio

Hailing from the redwood forests of Humboldt County, Mind’s Medicine is a psychedelic electronic music producer creating immersive sonic journeys since 2016. Blending psytech, progressive psytrance, dark prog, dark psy, and HiTech, the project is rooted in exploration, healing, and consciousness expansion through sound. The name Mind’s Medicine reflects a deeply personal path of transformation inspired by the healing power of cannabis. Alongside the music, the artist is also a dedicated breeder of landrace genetics and has spent nearly a decade developing a signature strain called HiTech. A defining element of the Mind’s Medicine sound is the use of microtonal tuning systems inspired by the work of Derrick Scott Van Heerden and the concepts explored in Mathemagical Music. Using custom TUN files and 432Hz-based tuning approaches, the project explores the relationship between sound, vibration, and human experience. Influenced by crystal singing bowls and the science of cymatics, Mind’s Medicine creates frequency-conscious music designed to evoke depth, resonance, and connection — transforming the dancefloor into a multidimensional journey through sound and energy.
