Mini Episode: Helping Myself Through a Season of Overwhelm

from MotherLoad Podcast · host Lindsay Roselle

I’m feeling a little overwhelmed. A few weeks ago, I was at a plant medicine retreat. I was off the map that entire week, which means I didn’t get to email and didn’t get to DMs. I was out of contact with everything.RT had a trip spanning the two weeks after my return, so since then, it’s been a lot of solo parenting. While he was gone, both of my kids got sick, and one of my boys stuck a LEGO up his nose.On top of that, I’m getting ready to launch a couple of new things. The podcast is picking up speed. I’m trying to put more effort, time, and focus on business again, after a year of being more focused on motherhood, but it feels like everything is crunching down on me.Of course, that’s the motherload. That’s what this whole thing is about. We go through these seasons in our lives where the load can feel heavier and more overwhelming than normal. I coach people on how to handle the motherload, but I’m still in the thick of it and have to utilize my own tools constantly. We will never truly “master” the motherload, but today I’m going to share a few techniques I use to feel more in control and less paralysis from the feeling of overwhelm.Resources & LinksDid this episode resonate with you?
