Welcome to Guanajuato, Mexico! Our beautiful city can offer you traditional Spanish architecture, streets of brightly colored homes, and a collection of 100+ naturally preserved mummies found in our Museo de las Momias. A result of an unjust burial tax, these mummies were totally exempt from natural decomposition, robbed of their identities, and treated disrespectfully for decades.
