LinkedIn feels weird right now. Layoffs, AI and the news have put a damper on what used to be a very inspiring platform… but I refuse to give up on it. I want to see updates from my colleagues about trends in our field, old coworkers getting promoted or lessons learned from someone who I look up to. I’ve been beating this drum since 2016, posting on LinkedIn creates a ripple effect you don’t always see in your business and your career and it’s worth taking the plunge and feeling cringey when you hit “post”. One of the most common questions I hear is, "But what should I post on LinkedIn?" Truth is, most people don't struggle because they lack expertise they struggle because they're overthinking it. If you've ever worried about saying the wrong thing, posting at the wrong time, or whether your content is "good enough," pull up a chair. You'll learn: - What’s changed on LinkedIn and why posting now is different - Why authenticity and consistency matter more than metrics - My favorite follows on the platform for posts, videos, and newsletters - How engagement and community-building is helping more than you realize The people I see having the most success on LinkedIn aren't necessarily posting every day or chasing the latest trends. They're consistently sharing quality ideas, lessons, and stories that help others think differently or solve a problem. That's what this episode is all about. Finding a sustainable way to create content, trusting that your experiences have value, and remembering that showing up imperfectly will always beat staying silent.
