I had no idea how often I would use public speaking as an entrepreneur. After pitching my idea on Shark Tank I thought “oof don’t think I’ll have to do that again for a while” but boy was I wrong! As an entrepreneur who’s often pitching ideas to (very impressive!) teams, I’ve learned a few tricks over the past decade. I’ve even gotten to the point where I enjoy keynote speaking! In this episode, I run through the absolute MUSTS before you show up to speak, how to stay cool while speaking and most importantly and most overlooked what to do after it’s over. There’s a few mistakes I’ve made I hope you’ll be able to avoid. Even if keynote speaking isn’t on your radar knowing how to present your ideas confidently when so many eyeballs are looking your way is key to a successful career!
