Minister Mbalula opens a case against Somizi

SAfm — Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula has opened a case against TV and radio personality Somizi Mhlongo at the Sandton police station North of Johannesburg. Minister Mbalula says this is in contravention of the government lockdown regulations regarding misinformation and name dropping. In an Instagram Live video by Metro FM radio host Deneo Ranaka, Mhlongo was heard saying the lockdown would be extended and that Mbalula told him it would. The video of the conversation is currently doing the rounds on social media.
